On two-point correlation functions in AdS/QCD
In this paper we study the chiral symmetry breaking in the hard wall AdS/QCD model. We solve the equations of motion up to the second order at large momentum and obtain the first few terms in the expansion of the ”left-right” correlator, which is the measure of symmetry breaking. In the strong coupling calculation we get the result as the series in square root of t’Hooft constant.
متن کاملConfinement and Green functions in Landau-gauge QCD
In a functional approach to QCD the infrared behaviour of Landau gauge Green functions is investigated. Positivity violation for, and thus confinement of, gluons is demonstrated, and the analytic structure of the gluon propagator is studied. Quark confinement is related to an infrared divergence of the quark-gluon vertex. In the latter various components are dynamically induced due to the spont...
متن کاملGauge-invariant resummation formalism for two-point correlation functions.
The consistent description of unstable particles, renormalons, or other Schwinger–Dysontype of solutions within the framework of perturbative gauge field theories necessitates the definition and resummation of off-shell Green’s functions, which must respect several crucial physical requirements. A formalism is presented for resummation of off-shell twopoint correlation functions, which is mainl...
متن کاملSignatures of confinement in Landau gauge QCD
We summarise an analysis of the infrared regime of Landau gauge QCD by means of a flow equation approach [1]. The infrared behaviour of gluon and ghost propagators is evaluated. The results provide further evidence for the Kugo-Ojima confinement scenario. We also discuss their relation to results obtained with other functional methods as well as the lattice.
